Pics Of New Place

As some of you may know, I have actually moved from my apartment up north in Snob-Town (a suburb of Edmond) and transplanted myself just a little south of Snob-Town – really about ten minutes – to a condo in Oklahoma City. I didn’t have the internet for a couple of weeks as a result, so that was no fun, but here are a couple of photos of the place as it stands now. We still don’t have everything put away, but it’s only been a week.

I might put up some more pictures this week, but I wanted to get my room at least a little presentable before then.

Up All Night, Chronicle #002

It’s about 2am the following night after I stayed up all night last night (that’s three “nights” in one sentence). This won’t be as exciting as last night. No pictures or anything cool like that, but since I’m up all night again, what better to do than to write about it?

Right now I’m watching an episode of popSiren from Revision3. It should be no surprise to those who know me that I get most of my media from the internet. That would probably make sense, considering what I do each week. The show is basically a mishmash of information from science to do-it-yourself things. All of the hosts are female, so it kind of leans in that direction, but it’s enjoyable enough to watch even though I don’t necessarily care about the do-it-yourself bracelet they’re showing at the moment.

Speaking of online shows. Something I’ve wanted to do for a long time and never did was make a shirt for Pressed & Bound. Since I have nothing better to do than to stay up all night these past few days, I made a shirt. If you’re curious, here is what I came up with. I don’t necessarily know it will look when it all comes out because I’ve yet to buy a dark shirt from Cafepress, but hopefully it will be fine. I did purchase one to see. I’ve bought plenty of white t-shirts from there and they all have been ok.

It’s now halfway until 3am. I’ve promised someone that I’d call them at 5:15 this morning to wake them up, so I need to stay up. My alternate option is simply to take a nap for two hours and then get up, call, and go back to bed. I might be exercising this option soon enough. What I do know, though, is that since I’ve read quite a lot of material about zombies, I will be able to defend myself in the upcoming revolution (which you just know will happen overnight). So while you suckers all sleep, I’ll be awake keeping everyone safe.

That is all for now, I’m going to get back to reading the novel I picked up today. (It’s about vampires. After a week or so I’ll be a walking encyclopedia of fictional monster knowledge.)

Up All Night, Chronicle #001

Just as I mentioned in my last post. Tonight I’m staying up all night to get ready for my new shift. Since I don’t have any plans at all, every hour or so tonight I’m going to write down a few sentences about what’s going on. This will be good not only because you are inquisitive, but it will also serve to keep me awake. Let’s get started!

  • SO IT BEGINS.Sat, 9:25pm Here is the beginning post. Look how awake I am! I’m sure that this will simply go down hill from here. Right now I’m finishing up some things on my computer (cleaning some folders, re-allocation files between my computer and external HD, etc.). I have the radio on in the other room, further cementing my opinion that the radio sucks. I used to think that it was popular music that I hated the most, but know I think I dislike pretty much every radio personality that comes on. I really don’t care about their views, and they’re not as “shocking” or funny as they think they are. But anyhow, this is a riveting start to my night, and it can only get better from here.

Pictures of Apartmento (Updated)

As promised, I have a few pictures of the place in which I’m currently residing. It’s taken me longer than I expected to upload all of the photos, and this is only because I’ve yet to get my own personal internets. Yes, I realize that it’s wrong to “steal” the internet from people, but if they leave their router wide open to the world, then it’s not really my fault. I have half the mind to put a password on it so that I’m the only one who can use it, but that would be really wrong, so I’m not. My usage on their router has been nil compared to what I’ll be pulling down on my own anyway, so I’m not stressing over it. Now, on to the pictures.
