Negatives To Positives

This is just something that popped into my head a few minutes ago for some reason, but is there really any good reason that we describe taking your pet and getting their genitalia ripped out as having them “fixed?” So it’s come to pass that we consider the natural state of our animals as “broken.” Because of this, I think that I’m going to start considering women who have had a hysterectomy as “fixed.” That makes sense, right?
