A Few iPhone Wallpapers

I usually don’t give a hoot about iPhone backgrounds, but I wanted something new to look at so I combed through a bunch of my photos to produce those above. They aren’t magical or anything, but I thought that I would share.

The Fuzzy Lights one might need some resizing for it to look its best, but I will leave that up to you because I am really lazy.

The Piano Bar [cinemagraph]

Sometimes your bar needs that extra something to set it apart from all the rest. For Michael Murphy’s, it’s dualing pianos. Now, I have never been to this establishment, so I can only assume that the inside is just like the Thunderdome. Two pianos enter, one piano leaves.

Bricktown at night 9/6/11

Where the party at? [cinemagraph]

Went out and did some night shooting last night. This might be the only cinemagraph I pull from the lot, but I have a lot of stills to sift through yet. The technique for this one was actually a bit different than normal. Normally I would just turn the camera over to video mode and shoot a bit of film and pull the imagery from there. For this one it was too dark to get a good exposure, so I just took multiple stills. The editing in Photoshop was basically the same from there.

Things in Bricktown

There’s not really a whole lot to say here. I Tweeted and Bookfaced this video a little while back, but I finally got around to putting it up on Vimeo.

As the title would suggest, these are things you might find in downtown Oklahoma City, or as some people call it: Bricktown.

Shot on my Canon HV30 on one windy Saturday afternoon.

The music is by Kaki King, by the way; the song is entitled “Life Being What It Is.”
