This Year's Best Musing
posted in Miscellaneous, Past Goodness on Jan 21, 2005I hate movies that come out in the months of January and February solely because there’s going to be some idiot that writes up some review in some backwoods town that calls the movie “the year’s best!” Did I read that right? It’s been two weeks in the new year, half the people in America are still cleaning up from the New Year’s party, and you’re telling me this lump of crap on celluloid is better than every movie that’s going to come out in the next 340 days this year; because we all know the movies that haven’t been announced yet are going to suck. Jumping to conclusions a little early, aren’t we Mr. Critic-Man-Person-…guy. Something tells me next week’s big movie is going to be the best movie of the year too. How convenient. It’s almost as if they want to make more profit for the movie people. Hmmm…Conspiracy?
