I just wanted to say “Off the chain” because that seems to be the cool new catch phrase. Because apparently things just hang around on chains all the time, and when they come off of these chains, cool things happen. It must have been originated in the freezer of a butcher shop where they hang all that meat. When that meat came off the hooks you know that good times were a comin’. “What? You want some ribs? Here you go.” “These ribs are OFF THE CHAIN!” “Yes, as a matter of fact they are.” That must have been where it came from. I understand now.
