Last First Week

Four months from now yours truly is going to graduate from college, but this isn’t what this is about.  This is about not wanting to do anything because it is the last semester.  How do we remedy this problem?  As much as I hate school and like the fact that I’m almost done, if I didn’t know I was about to be finished, there’d be a good chance that I wouldn’t be so lazy.  If they said something like, “You’ll be done when you’re done,” then every semester might feel like it counts towards some ultimate goal.  In addition, that might lessen the pressure.  If one is not constantly trying to compete with everyone else, then there might be fewer kids jumping off of bridges or punching hobos out of stress related angst.  But again, I’m just being lazy.  My professors need to know this too, because I know that I’m not going to be doing much in class anymore.  I wonder how much straight C’s will affect my GPA…

My resolution hasn’t come true so far…
