London Is Gross
posted in Miscellaneous, People on Nov 30, 2007Apparently people in London have no qualms with unzippin’ and rippin’ in the streets. A new AP article discusses a new service in the city where folks can send the text message “toilet” via their phones and receive directions to the nearest public restroom. Those behind the service hope to eschew the problem of public urination:
The council said it hopes the service will stop people from urinating in alleyways, saying some 10,000 gallons of urine ends up in Westminster streets each year.
Yeah, just a mere 10,000 gallons of urine. That comes out to 1,280,000 fluid ounces, or a scant 106,667 cans of Coke. London is gross. It’s a good thing that no diseases can be transferred from urine. It’s so sterile and clean!
